The Belt of Venus:
See the blue band underneath the final rays of the sunset? Evidently that's the shadow of the earth itself that causes this effect. And I was tickled to see it at Mt St Helens in Washington state.
Literally from the final frame of my time-lapse I'm working on for the mountain.
